Digital Insulation Tester

With over 40 years of experience in design and manufacture of Analog Insulation Testers, MECO has recently launched the DIT99 Series Digital Insulation Testers. The DIT 99 Series are India’s first Digital Insulation Testers which are indigenously designed, battery operated, solid state and compact instrument.

The high accuracy DIT 99 series conforms to IS10656-1983 and meets the requirements of IEC1010 Installation Category II. The large 3-1/2 digit 17mm LCD display, high accuracy of ± ( 3% rdg + 1 dgt ), 2.5 sec conversion rate, single person push button operation and over-range indication are few of its features which make it an internationally acceptable product.

The five models available offer the user flexibility to choose from range 0- 20 Mega Ohms to 0-2000 Mega Ohms over a voltage range of 100V to 1000V. These versatile ranges makes the DIT 99 Series ideal for insulation measurement of applications involving electrical equipment, electrical cables for distribution and telecommunication networks, industrial, commercial and residential installations etc.

These meters do not have the conventional age-old noisy cranking mechanism and are rugged to offer a long life and freedom from wear and tear. For the user’s convenience, the DIT 99 Series is supplied with standard accessories like a pair of crocodile test leads, shoulder strap carrying case, batteries (fitted –in) and operation manual.
